Twenty-five year old Jenny Wilkinson was still
shaking from the news. Why did it have to happen now? She leaned back and
closed her eyes. She had already been robbed of a childhood. Why was life so

While
on a cruise, Maria fell in love with Rick Nicholson, letting him think that
she also had plenty of money. Once
back in Nashville, she wondered how to tell him the truth without losing his
love. Rick had brought Tom, a good friend of his to meet Jenny and they
seemed to hit it off at first sight. However, Jenny’s secret keeps him at
arm’s length, until Rick’s father dies from a heart attack and they
realize their love. However, her secret must be revealed and it might ruin
all their lives.
Jenny
ends up in the hospital on the verge of death while Maria, Rick and Tom
wait, praying for her return to them. They all take stock at what life is
about and wonder at the many mistakes and lies they’ve all been guilty of.
